Many of the psalms were written to be sung rather than simply read. The psalms are literally God's hymnbook. For that reason, I have long wanted to have the psalms in a suitable song-form. However, to convert the psalms into modern songs without altering them can be challenging due to the different structure we use in modern songs. I have therefore utilised Suno to create vocals and accompanying music that do not change the words in the psalms at all. As such, each track is the pure word of God being sung with modern music. The genres of music employed include funk, Gospel, modern jazz, reggae, as well as atmospheric music.

I originally began this experiment for my own use. However, as I was pleased with the results, I thought I'd make it available completely free for anyone who wanted to enjoy the psalms in this way.
