In this blog post, we will go verse by verse through Genesis chapter 3, examining the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. We will also see that the tree of life ultimately points to Jesus, through whom we have eternal life.
In this blog post, we explore the meaning and significance of Genesis 2:4-25 in which God plants the Garden of Eden, and creates the first human beings. We will see that Eden was also God's temple and that Adam and Eve were priests in this Edenic Garden-Temple. We will also see that God's creation of Adam and Eve ultimately points to Christ and the Church, and reminds us of Jesus' great love for us.
In my last blog post, we looked at the six days of creation in Genesis 1. We will now look at the seventh day and explore how we can enter into God's seventh-day rest.
